150-bed long-term care home * residential care for 90 private rooms and 60 basic rooms * 24-hour nursing and personal care * access to a doctor and other health professionals- bedding and furniture
- laundry and housekeeping
- meals
- personal hygiene supplies
- medical supplies and equipment (such as catheters, ostomy bags, or wound care supplies)
- assistance with medication and activities of daily living
- recreation and social programs
LEVEL OF CARE: Light Care: Can manage most activities of daily living, may require cueing or supervision; requires assistance with provision of basic needs, i.e. medications, nutrition, hygiene, housekeeping, mobility, etc
Medium Care: May be able to manage some activities but requires assistance and supervision with activities of daily living; may require cueing or supervision; requires assistance with provision of basic needs, i.e. medications, nutrition, hygiene, housekeeping, mobility, etc.
Heavy Care: Requires total care with most or all activities of daily living, with complex care nursing needs and/or behavioural management difficulties.
