Service Description: 120-bed long-term care home * residential care for private, semi-private, and basic rooms * 24-hour nursing and personal care * access to a doctor and other health professionals
  • bedding and furniture
  • laundry and housekeeping
  • meals
  • personal hygiene supplies
  • medical supplies and equipment (such as catheters, ostomy bags, or wound care supplies)
  • assistance with medication and activities of daily living
  • recreation and social programs

TOUR FREQUENCY: Upon request, call ahead for appointment

RESIDENT CARE SERVICES: Oxygen concentrator, suctioning, dressings, drain care, ostomy care, catheter care, pumps, phlebotomy, tube feedings, PAP machine, intravenous therapy as well as medication

FURNITURE POLICY: May bring own furniture, limited to what room size will allow, and must use facility bed.

MEAL PLAN / SERVICE TYPES: Central dining room, Special diets accommodated, Meal tray service available

PHYSICIAN VISIT FREQUENCY: Visits occur weekly. On-call rotation - 24 hours per day

RESTRAINT METHOD: Least restraint policy, wandering resident protection (Wandergard) key pad entry

PET POLICY:
  • pets allowed for visitation

Fees: Rates set by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care * subsidies for basic rates may be available for eligible applicants
